Glossary of Exotic Massage Terms
Basic Massage: Term which describes the most basic exotic massage service offered by a massage parlour in which the attendant is fully clothed while giving the massage.
Body Rub: Term used to describe a full-body exotic massage.
Body Slide: Massage technique in which the masseuse uses her body to give a total-body massage while paying special attention to the clients' intimate areas. Both the client and attendant are fully nude with massage oil being used as the "sliding" medium.
Couples Massage: Massage involving one attendant and two clients, usually a man/woman couple in straight massage parlours. Massages can be given or received by any one or two people in the group at a time.
Door Fee: Fee paid by the customer to the massage parlour for the use of a private massage room.
Erotic Massage: See "Exotic Massage" below.
Exotic Massage: A massage in which areas of the body such as around the groin and other intimate parts that are not normally touched in a therapeutic massage, will be touched in ways that increase sexual arousal. Exotic massage is also known as erotic massage, adult massage, massage with "happy-ending" or rub & tug massage.

Happy Ending: Term used to describe a massage whereby treatment techniques result in client climax at the end of a session.
Hot Oil Massage: A massage treatment where hot oil is applied as the massage lubricant.
Jacuzzi Massage: An exotic massage which takes place in a Jacuzzi or hot tub.
Licensed Massage Parlour: A body rub parlour which has been approved for operation under local by-laws in its area/municipality. The local by-laws state what services can and cannot be performed in order to retain the license in good standing.
MP: Massage Parlour.
MPA: Massage Parlour Attendant. MPAs provide massages to their clients.
Nude Massage: Exotic massage service in which the attendant is nude.
Nude Reverse: Exotic massage where the client is able to massage the attendant who is nude.
Room Fee: Also known as a "door fee" it is the fee paid by the customer to the massage parlour for the use of a private massage room.
Rub & Tug: Term used to describe an exotic massage parlour.
Shower Massage: A massage service whereby the client is massaged by the attendant while in a shower.
Topless Massage: Massage service which involves the attendant being naked from the waist up while providing the client with a massage.
V.I.P Massage: Term used to describe the "top of the line" or premium services offered by a massage establishment.
